Jagged Little Pixel is a clothing boutique in Seattle Washington. They had a business plan, but needed help with Brand Identity and an eCommerce website to showcase their clothing catalog.

Jagged Little Pixel needed a Brand Style Guide and a Logo to express their brand persona of being dark and sarcastic, and having a "Jagged little edge." Their products and eCommerce website needed to reflect that mood as well.

The eCommerce website needed to be easy to update, have a blogging component to help with organic SEO traffic, and interface with their product payment and delivery providers.

Brand Strategy

Jagged Little Pixel needed a Logo and Brand Guidelines. After a discovery session I designed a simple logo that would convey the Jagged Little Pixel qualities of being dark, sarcastic and having a "Jagged little edge." From there I created a Style Guide for the Jagged Little Pixel brand that they could use for their website design, and to coordinate all their marketing strategy and materials.

Woo-Commerce website

After the Style Guide was approved, I began developing a custom Woo-Commerce template as a framework for their website. I created templates for the Home page, the Blog, and all the product catalog and checkout pages for the Shop. Once I had the image assets and copy content, I populated all the necessary pages. Since Jagged Little Pixel wanted to sell online and collect customer account information, they needed the site to be secure, so I set up SSL certification, and added a Privacy Settings page and a cookie modal. I also added plugins for security, a firewall, SEO and analytics tracking. Finally I connected the front and back end of the shop and added PayPal and Stripe payment portals, and MailChimp integration to collect email address for CRM.
